The Westin Grand Munich Hotel, Munich

My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The rooms were showing their age and had some strange sounds that made me feel uncomfortable, but I did appreciate the friendliness of the staff. The location was convenient for some attractions but far from others, and the dining experience was enjoyable despite being a bit pricey. The facilities were decent overall.

The hotel could do with a refurbishment as the fitouts are a little outdated, but it's situated in a nice quiet neighborhood with quick access to places like the main square and train station. The breakfast is a major disappointment due to staff, but overall, it's a fairly good value for money option in Munich.

The hotel's location is very convenient for accessing town and the airport, with good standards fulfilled for the Christmas Markets. The dining experience was wonderful, but the rooms had issues with a strong smell of old cigars and stale cigarette smoke mixed with cheap aftershave.

The hotel offers double beds, bath, and rain shower, but the room faces the noisy main road, making it difficult to relax. The bathroom is cleaned, and the bed sheet is arranged, though the A/C settings do not regulate the cold effectively.

I stayed at the hotel and found the rooms to be spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The spa area was really nice but had two instances of dirty and not clean rooms. The service was friendly and helpful overall, but there was an unpleasant experience with the porter who seemed indifferent. The location was decent but not scenic, and there were limitations to TV channels and services like minibar and parking. The dining experience was really good with a wide selection, including an organic section. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory, but some cleanliness issues were noted.
